On the other hand is Dam Ye-jin, a famous home shopping host whose perfect image on screen hides serious insomnia and emotional burnout.
Their chemistry worked. The series never rushed their connection. The show treated healing as a slow, awkward, deeply personal thing. That realism became a major talking point among viewers tired of overly dramatic romance formulas.
The workplace environment itself had its charm. The series gave ordinary professional routines an emotional weight that grounded the characters, from cosmetics research to live sales broadcasts.
The Ratings Story Isn’t Great
Sold Out On You got a positive response from those fans who stayed, but the way the ratings went could be trouble for a second season.

Can SBS Still Surprise Audiences?
It’s possible.

There is scope for exploring how relationships survive after the “healing phase” and normal life resumes.
But the biggest question is does the writers even want to come back to these characters.

Sold Out On You Season 2 is not currently in active development and the odds of it getting renewed appear pretty slim based on current industry trends and ratings performance.
