007 First Light Chapter 2 Walkthrough – All Collectibles, VIP Access Paths, Hotel Infiltration Guide

Chapter 2 of 007 First Light finds Bond in a crowded London nightclub after the Malta mission and manages to combine stealth, investigation and social manipulation into one of the game’s most entertaining early chapters. Here are several ways to complete objectives in this section, while hiding a number of collectibles along the way, from tracking Joshua Pike to sneaking into a highly guarded hotel.

This walkthrough covers every major objective, all collectible locations and the easiest ways to progress through the mission.

Seeing Red

The story opens in the middle of a crowded nightclub. Once you have Bond in your control, go straight for the bar area.

But before you proceed to the right contact, you can talk to the blond woman in the red dress. Bond quickly discovers she is not the one he is supposed to meet.

The actual contact is at the far end of the bar in a red shirt. Talk to him to start the next objective.

When the chat ends, go through the green mission indicator to the men’s toilet. Go into the stall with an X on the door and interact with the secret cabinet on the back wall.

There’s a fight in the bathroom soon, which opens up the mission into several different stealth routes.

Research Joshua Pike

At this point players have a few options to get to the Upstairs Lounge. No matter which road you take, all roads lead to the same destination.

Route 1 – Via the Staff Area

You can bluff staff members to get behind the bar, or use the Dartphone to distract them.

If you’re looking around behind the counter, be sure to grab:

Behind the bar there is a doorway into a staff corridor, which leads to the staircase behind the bouncers.

Watch the other bartender. If bluffing doesn’t work, wait until he’s distracted or take him out quietly with a dart.

Route 2: Across the Lighting Rig

Bond can hear clubbers discussing the backstage lighting setup near the dance floor.

Go to the DJ booth and ignore the staff member who is posted there. From here climb up onto the scaffolding and walk across the suspended lighting rig above the crowd.

Before the last jump, look down to the right side and collect:

Card #3: Ten of Coins

This is one of the more cinematic routes through the club.

Route 3 – Lounge Upstairs Stamp

Players who enjoy social interaction can access the Upstairs Lounge directly via a stamp.

Bond is given a clue about the password system near the cloakroom. The codeword “Jones” is mentioned in overheard conversations.

Give the attendants the codeword for the official stamp.

Or use the Dartphone to distract the male attendant and sneak in and stamp Bond’s hand yourself while the other worker is distracted.

Once you have your stamp you just walk past the bouncers and into the Upstairs Lounge.

Find Pike

Joshua Pike is over in the lounge.

Stay tuned as Bond’s hacking sequence continues in the background. Later Pike will go to the bar area where Bond is again interrupted by the mysterious Woman in Red.

The game gives you a handful of dialogue options during this interaction, but none of these options really change the course of events. Whatever the players decide, Pike still makes it into the VIP area.

Go to VIP Area

Now Pike was secreted away in the V.I.P. section. Bond had to find another way in.

VIP Route 1 – Rear Entrance

Players can slip through the service areas behind the bar and climb through the back sections leading to the VIP lounge.

This method is heavily reliant on stealth and timing.

VIP Path 2 – Waiter Costume

The easier method is to take a serving tray near the bar.

Bond’s tray allows him to walk past security without raising suspicion. Bond mingles with the guests nearby as the hacking process is automatically completed in the VIP area.

Then leave the VIP section and meet Cressida on the other side of the lounge.

Then head to the nearest bathroom and set the trap. Go back to Pike, pull him into the restroom again and lock the exit.

Confronting Pike’s Contact

Follow Cressida down to a private room off the dancefloor.

Bond meets Pike’s mysterious contact inside. A little later the Woman in Red comes back.

The game provides multiple dialogue choices but the ending remains unchanged. Whatever players choose, the contact still completes her call.

Return to the dance floor and talk to Monroe. You will be ambushed by several enemies before you get to him.

Kill the attackers and head outside to meet with Greenway, leading to a big cutscene that brings the story back to MI6 headquarters.

A Delicate Subject

Back to MI6. Exit M’s office. Make your way to Q-Lab.

In the Wearables section, speak with Q and watch the gadget demo cutscene. Then collect:

Legacy #2: Daggers for Feet

The collectible is directly ahead on the counter.

Next, go to the Gadget Testing section and select Bond’s equipment loadout.

The best combination for the next mission is:

Both gadgets are super useful for stealth-heavy sections later in the chapter.

Once inside turn right around and proceed to the back section of the office where you will find:

Hotel Drive

Bond’s next job begins with a drive down a seaside road to a luxury hotel complex.

Park the vehicle and then walk up the stairs toward the entrance.

Before you continue, take the optional path to the left to pick up:

Card No. 4, Ace of Acorns

Collect the collectible and return to the main road leading to the hotel.

Step into the Hotel

There are a couple of different approaches to the hotel infiltration part.

Method 1 – Secret Press Badge

A woman near by on the phone says that a Press Badge has been hidden inside a flower pot.

Go back to the well area and check inside the big white plant pot for the badge.

Use it to get through security.

Method 2 – Get a Press Pass

Near the security scanner, guards stand by a storage container with another Press Badge.

Distract them with the Dartphone or the generator nearby. Open the container and get the badge when the guards leave.

Method 3 – Fire Distraction

A lighter on a bench near the entrance can be stolen.

Use the lighter to set fire to the leaves in the wheelbarrow by the security area. Sneak past the guards as they investigate the fire, and head to an open window leading to the staff entrance.

This is one of the quickest stealth routes into the building.

Method 4 – Staff Admission

You can also enter through the Staff Only section next to the main hotel entrance.

Distract the first guard using the garden hose nearby, then climb over the fence and work your way through the flower beds behind the second guard.

Climb the drainpipe at the far end of the area and go straight into the hotel.

End of Chapter

Eventually, all infiltration routes converge inside the hotel corridors.

Continue down the hall, go through the double doors, and step out onto the balcony to finish Chapter 2.

This mission is a perfect mix of stealth, social manipulation and multiple infiltration options, easily one of the best early missions of 007 First Light.
